I am a big fan of stationery.

When I was 16, I told my mom I was going to launch a line of greeting cards. I went to the craft store and spent all the tips I made that week at my Froyo job, and spent a sleepless design drawing on brown kraft paper invitations with a sharpie. I was onto the next project a week later, but here I am fulfilling my 16 year old dreams, as a brand and stationary designer!

I have always had a passion for stationary, mostly because I loved the whole idea of snail mail. I have always loved going to Target and picking out a card for a loved one during a holiday or special occasion.

But that is what I love the most about 2020, I believe it has reminded us all that we don’t need to wait till a special occasion to send a note to someone to tell them we love them.

Here are my five favorite non-traditional reasons to send a card to a friend!

1.    Friendiversary- I love this one, because you don’t need an actual friendiversary date to celebrate a friendiversary! It will bring a smile to their face and show them how much you love and treasure your friendship by wanting to celebrate the day you became friends!

2.    Phone a friend- Send a chic letter to a family member or friend just to say hi! You can update them on your life and I am sure they would love to hear what you have been up to. They can hang up your card and it will bring a smile to their face when they see it!

3.    A picture says a thousand words- Send a loved one a simple letter, but stuff the envelope with some of your favorite pictures you’ve taken this year! This is such a sweet gesture to send to someone you haven’t seen in a while, and an older family member who may not have Facebook. It would be a sweet surprise!

These are just a few reasons to send a love note to someone you love. And if you love snail mail as much as I do, keep an eye on the TSC ship for some modern and chic greeting cards coming soon!

Snail mail and greeting cards are the perfect reason to say hello just because!
